The problem with the multiple universe theory (or is it Chaos theory? WARNING, WARNING, LAYPERSON'S "SCIENCE". I'm basically making this up!) is that there is a universe for every random chance and choice: everything that could possibly happen has somewhere to happen in. Logically, there then has to be a universe where it is an impossibility for there to be other universes where everything that could possibly happen has somewhere to happen in. Fine, I believe most anything – truth is stranger than fiction, bumblebees can fly, and it's probably already been proven possible in a backstairs math class at 4:39 AM by someone who then sat with head in hands because 5 and a half other people would understand the proof. But this is why Terry Pratchett can describe some vastly complex situation and say "It was probably because of quantum." and it's always funny.

These things aren't actually presents, but such spontaneous awesomeness makes it feel like they are.

Imaginary Beasts #18: Winter is out! Haha, times like these I get mild schadenfreude because of living in the southern hemisphere. This weekend I'm going to the beach! (Feel free to laugh back at me when it's summer for you.)

And ...... oh, man, I got a review on my POKEMON POETRY. For which thank you, reviewer, because you bothered to pay attention and to feel something and then even to tell me about it. But I mean it's Pokémon poetry from when I was - what, 12, and I don't really expect people to still read it. It's still on FFN because I liked it when I posted it, and I believe it's important to be able to laugh at yourself. Pokémon poetry makes for a hell of a punchline. But yes, you can laugh and/or lose some respect for me. It's ... it's understandble. XD

Speaking of FFN, I got hits from a South African!!! Profile! and story! This is cool because - I dunno, I think people are still expected to go outside for entertainment in this country. I've seen two other South Africans on FFN since starting to go on there in grade 7 and I remember, once, hitman_reborn had a friending meme type post and there was one person from somewhere in North Africa. That's the closest it got. There aren't even a lot of hits from other African countries on FFN. (The USA seems to be on the internet all the time, though.)

Having watched another Bollywood* movie the other day and thinking over the handful of others that I've seen, it's obvious again: Hip hop culture spread around the world like a really virulent rash, wow. I wonder why? Probably because hip hop's version of style allows you to wear extremely comfortable trousers. You could show up at a party in a tracksuit and be the height of fashion. A velvet tracksuit. A bedazzled velvet tracksuit.

* Sister's boyfriend, who is Indian in heritage, said that technically speaking it wasn't Bollywood, because that only entails the movies that are shot in Bombay. Live and learn.

I really really suck at updating this thing. And I feel awful about it because I have random cool people from ontd_startrek added and they're probably wondering 'why did i add this person if they never update or comment on my kewl entries' and I DO read your entries I really do I'm just super shy and intimidated by other ST fans who are less fail than me -- which pretty much consists of just about every ST fan except for the creepy, old, fat ones --

So if you want to cut me, that's fine. I don't believe in friend cuts so you'll stay on my flist forever even if you don't want to sorry about that I like looking like I have more friends than I do it makes me feel popular.

All I know about Hero is that a) everybody else recs it too and b) tongari draws it, and thus it will be so pretty it'd be like some divine power descended from on high to touch it with angels. That's got to be worth something.
